About Tetris
Tetris is the definitive falling-block puzzle. Rows of blocks descend, you rotate and position them, and any fully-filled horizontal line clears — awarding points and freeing space. The game ends when the stack reaches the top. Simple to learn, impossible to master.
Scoring
Clearing one line scores 100 points, but clearing four at once (a "Tetris") scores 1200 — the reward for patience scales super-linearly. Soft-dropping adds 1 point per cell and hard-dropping adds 2, so decisive play pays slightly better than waiting. The level increases every 10 lines, and gravity gets faster with it.
This implementation uses a 7-bag randomiser, so every seven pieces contain each of the seven shapes exactly once — no brutal long droughts of the piece you need.
